The Great Smoky Mountains National Park
is the theme of our whole county. Nature is the theme,
whether it is a waterfall hike, a picnic by a crystal clear
stream rushing down the mountains, or a visit to the preserved
historic buildings in our nation's most visited national park.
We have over 800 miles of hiking trails
within the National Park. Horseback riding trails span
over 300 miles. We are the leading wildflower pilgrimage
center, with more varieties of plants than any rainforest in the
northern hemisphere.
Within all this natural beauty,
preserved for your delight for years to come, are the many fine
restaurants and businesses who have chosen Sevier County as
their home. Craftsmen, fine artists, the University of
Tennessee's fine art center at Arrowmont School of Arts and
Crafts, and a talented group of area musicians all call the
Smoky Mountains their home.
For specific information on amusement
parks such as Dollywood, the dinner theatre Dixie Stampede, the
many music and comedy shows, please call our office. We
have access to discount tickets on many of these
attractions. Be sure to check out our romance packages,
honeymoon packages, whitewater rafting packages, horseback
riding packages--or package your our vacation with our
help. Just be sure to stay at one of our family owned,
family loved vacation hideaways.
